Being born and raised here in Bastrop Texas, and attending school here as well, has given me a deep appreciation for this area that I would love to share with you.  I left for a short period of time to serve in the Army but returned home to Bastrop as soon as I could. I have been married to my Bastrop High School sweetheart for 11 years now and we are proud to raise our own family here in Bastrop as well.

I have a strong faith, and my family and I have been members of Primera Baptist Church since 1998 and continue to worship there. We have three beautiful, fun-loving and full of energy children, Juliana is 6, Maribella is 4 and Maddox is 18 months.

Before my wife and I had kids, we loved to travel. We would go on nice exotic trips and see some of the most amazing sites and scenery in the world. We still love to travel, but now we limit our travel to trips we can take in our mini-van in under 3 hours. San Antonio is about as far as we can get before our children’s patience runs out! My biggest joy is watching our kids grow up and observing how they are learning and discovering new things every day. Seeing them grow-up and seeing how different each one is; those are now my true amazing sites and scenery I never get tired of.

I have so many great childhood memories around town and love Bastrop’s charm and history. It still amazes me to see the changes and growth the Bastrop area. It does not surprise me that Bastrop, Texas was recognized as one of the fastest growing counties.  It is home of the Loblolly lost pines, three golf courses, lakes, city parks and beautiful state parks.

Let’s not forget about the historic homes.  Growing up, I had an uncle who was known as a great master carpenter in Bastrop. He worked on a lot of the historic homes in Bastrop County and he would take my cousins and I to the worksites. Watching him work on these homes and seeing the transformations made me appreciate these homes. These landmarks are what really make Bastrop the special place it is. I always recommend that new residents and visitors take some time to see the beautiful historic homes located in the “old town” section of Bastrop. Those homes and our charming Mainstreet give Bastrop it’s character.

I started in real estate as an investor. We have moved several times – always looking for the next deal. We even moved a historic home from Lockhart and did a complete remodel. I’ve come to realize that real estate is my passion. I love to help people look for a new home. Viewing homes, studying the market, talking real estate is what I enjoy. It inspired my slogan, ‘Let’s Talk Real Estate’.
